Write Connections offers classroom-style grant writing workshops for individuals in nonprofit or for profit organizations. On-site workshops are offered throughout western Pennsylvania and can be scheduled for 1-hour, half-day or full-day sessions.
The following trainings are currently available as classroom workshops:
Learn the sound planning skills needed for the grant writing experience, how to identify and qualify grant funding opportunities, the basic structure of a grant proposal, and tips on how to build a compelling proposal request. This full-day course is for those who are new to grant seeking and proposal writing for nonprofit organizations, or those who want to update their skills.
This workshop is designed for anyone interested in learning more about identifying and researching sources of grant funding. This workshop will help managers or employees understand the grantseeking process and resources that can be used to avoid roadblocks. Each section includes specific “tips” to be successful.
This workshop is specifically for anyone interested in pursuing grants through a federal government agency or department. Whether you’ve applied for federal funding in the past, or are about to apply for your first federal government grant, the rules and criteria change frequently per federal department.Learn how to stay on top of trends within your industry sector.
